◆WHAT IS MICRONEEDLING
Microneedling aka. Collagen Induction Therapy is a treatment that originated in plastic surgeon offices and clinics in North America in the late 90’s.
Although microneedling is proven to be extremely effective at solving skin concerns, this treatment is only now beginning to get noticed by the public, and its popularity is simply sky rocketing
◆WHAT DOES MICRONEEDLING TREAT
Microneedling is most well-known to treat the following conditions:

•Sensitivity – yes, really!
Each patient treatment is customized based on skin type, skin concern, and desired outcome. Different products are combined with the treatment, and a 93% Hyalronic Acid Gel is applied.
◆MICRONEEDLING AFTERCARE
Home care is almost as important as clinic care if one is trying to achieve the desired outcome. For this reason, Canada MedLaser ensures that a thorough consultation takes place with each patient prior to beginning their journey to achieving perfect skin.
Although the treatment is very tolerable, numbing cream is used for maximum patient comfort, and pinpoint bleeding is not uncommon. Bleeding will last for approximately *30 minutes, and some patients may notice mild scabbing for up to a week post treatment.
◆IS IT PAINFUL?
Most clients find microneedling very tolerable. A topical numbing cream is applied before the procedure to minimize discomfort, making the treatment comfortable for the majority of patients.
◆HOW LONG DOES A TREATMENT TAKE?
Sessions are quick and designed to fit into busy schedules, allowing clients to return to daily activities immediately with no downtime required.
◆HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
While some improvement is often visible after just one session, a series of 3–6 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is usually recommended for optimal results, depending on your skin concerns.
Downtime is minimal. You may experience redness, slight swelling, or sensitivity for 24–72 hours, similar to a mild sunburn. Most people return to normal activities the next day.
Microneedling is safe for most skin types and tones. It’s ideal for people looking to reduce early signs of aging, acne scars, or uneven texture. However, those with active skin infections or certain medical conditions may need to avoid treatment.
